This classic Caribbean villa offers rock solid construction of both poured concrete and filled block with rebar. Although the house was damaged in hurricane Hugo in 1989 it was rebuilt much stronger. The north east corner of the home is an I-beam that is attached deep into the earth with concrete piling and then attached securely to the roof. The hurricane curtains are rated above Dade Country standards. Roof panels that provide lovely shade all year are simply removed prior to a storm.
