David Fedeles, CRS, GRI
David E. Fedeles has been on St. Croix since 1986 and has been associated with Farchette & Hanley Real Estate since 1987. He has maintained his status as Top Producer on St. Croix for many years since 1992, earning him the title of “The Closer.” David prides himself on his creative energy and financial prowess to put a deal together and enjoys working with a diverse group of clients, handling both residential and commercial transactions. As a Broker Associate, he was named Top Producer on St. Croix in 2010 for closing 26 transactions with over $17.4M in sales volume, and David was recently honored as the Top Producer in the entire USVI in 2010! He has held that distinction for seventeen years as the Top Producer for the firm.
David is also licensed as a Broker in New York. Previously with Prudential Douglas Elliman, the largest firm serving metro New York City, he has now joined Charles Rutenberg as a “Smart Broker”, extending his reach for both buyers and sellers with a personalized style and hands-on approach in both markets. David spent over ten years holding executive positions in corporate sales, marketing, and general management with various Fortune 100 firms. Specialized in the Communications Industry, the companies included Cox Cable Communications, Northern Telecom, Inc., and Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company.
David served as President of the St. Croix Board of Realtor Multiple Listing Service and is a member of the St. Croix Board of REALTORS. He is active in local community affairs and is a member of the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce. He also served for nine years as a Trustee on the Board of Good Hope School in Frederiksted, St. Croix, which is a non-sectarian, non-profit school serving St. Croix’s diverse cultures in a solid, college preparatory environment. He permanently resides on St. Croix and is a graduate of the College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, and (deleted is) a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Karla Fennessy
Karla and her family relocated to St. Croix from Virginia in July of 2004 when her husband, Michael, a 25-year Hess veteran, joined Hovensa, LLC. A strong supporter of education, Karla has been actively involved in philanthropic work as a member of the St. Croix Women’s Initiatives and as an active fundraiser for the Good Hope School. Prior to joining the Farchette & Hanley team, she provided consulting work with various business entities performing research, event planning and administrative support. Karla has worked as a Licensed Real Estate Title Agent where she gained practical exposure on real estate, mortgages and title insurance. Prior to that she spent over 18 years in New York in the investment banking industry where she gained special skills in research, administration, marketing and human resources.
Karla was born and raised in the Philippines where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting from the University of the Philippines. She furthered her education and earned her Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from Adelphi University in Manhasset, New York. Her greatest pride and joy are her two boys, Kristian and Kyle. Having lived on St. Croix since 2004, Karla has quickly managed to gain and develop a wide network, from her active participation at the Good Hope School Parent Organization to memberships in various local groups and clubs.
